Jim will participate in the League of Women Voters Candidates Forum on May 29 at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chambers. The public is invited to attend.

Jim and supporters will be walking precincts in North, South and East Davis this

weekend.  Volunteers will meet at 3043 Bollate Lane at 12:00 on both days. 

Supporters are invited to volunteer to walk by calling 759-8460.

Saturday, May 17th from 9:00am to 11:30am:

Jim and supporters will be at the Farmer’s Market to discuss his plan to reduce

drug crime in Yolo County.

Thursday, May 15th from 8:30am to 9:30am:

Jim will be available at Common Grounds Coffee Shop near Safeway in South Davis.

 

Friday, May 2nd

Cinco de Mayo fundraiser to be held Friday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. at the home of Jerry and Teresa Kaneko, hosted by former State Superintendent Delaine Eastin, Senate President Pro Tem-elect Darrell Steinberg, Yolo County Supervisor Mariko Yamada, and Davis School Board Members Sheila Allen, Gina Daleiden,  and Tim Taylor. Monday April 28th from 8:00am to 9:00am:

Jim will discuss county budget issues at Mocha Joe’s Coffee at the South

Davis Nugget Shopping Center.

 

Saturday April 26th and Sunday April 27th:

Jim will meet with voters by walking door to door in South Davis.

 

Saturday April 26th at 9:00am

Jim and volunteers will be at the Farmer’s market  to discuss his ideas

to promote environmental justice.

 

Wednesday, April 2 at Noon
Child Abuse Prevention Luncheon: Jim will be sponsoring a luncheon with the Yolo County Children's Alliance at the Veteran's Memorial in Davis. Senator Darrell Steinberg will be the guest speaker.

 

Saturday, March 29th
Farmers Market: Jim will meet voters at his Farmer's Market booth from 9:00 -11:30 am on Saturday. Jim will discuss his proposed open government ordinance.

 

Saturday, March 29th at 9:30am and Sunday, March 30th 2:30 pm

Community walk- volunteers will gather at Provenza for County Supervisor Headquarters at 3043 Bollate Lane for our third communitywide walk. Volunteers will walk throughout the district while Jim meets voters in El Macero and South Davis.

 

Friday, March 28th at 5:00pm

Jim will be interviewed this Friday at 5:00 pm by local radio station KDVS. Davis residents will have the opportunity to hear Provenza discuss his ideas and positions on land use, budget and county services, open government, and environmental protection.
